LONDON
FAMILY HOME

A Victorian terrace in South East London that blends period character with contemporary edge – designed to be robust enough for the hum of family life.

The new kitchen was conceived to complement the original house while standing confidently as a contemporary extension, defined by generous proportions and an abundance of natural light. The atmosphere is relaxed and deeply liveable, shaped by natural materials that are both tactile and practical. In the kitchen, floating shelves made from a single slab of Pippy oak and a thick Belgian blue limestone worktop lend a sense of weight and solidity, balancing the lighter, softer elements of the interior. Across the house, soft textiles – antique kilims, lambswool curtains and linen upholstery – bring an enveloping, sumptuous feel to the rooms.
